Japanese Mountain Retreat allows you to step back in time to the world
of ancient Japan.

rooms have
tatami matting
covering the floor and shoji screens. Just outside the room water from the tsukubai falls into the stone basin
and a wind chimes echo a
distant past when the tea ceremony and
kimono were part of daily life in
rural Japan.
The guestroom has every modern convenience (TV,
DVD,
books, games, air-conditioning) as well as a
fully equipped kitchen complete with generous western style breakfast
provisions.
Step into your
ofuro (deep tub) overlooking your very own private Japanese
garden. Soaking and submerged to the chin it is a time for relaxation,
contemplation and sensual pleasures. Feelings of well-being and harmony
arise.
Rejuvenate your mind and body with an in-room aromatherapy or shiatsu
massage.
Savour a special platter of Japanese cuisine and sleep soundly the
Japanese way on futons with warm woollen doonas.
 The Retreat features: Two spacious double guest rooms each complete with
traditional bathroom overlooking its own private Japanese garden. Each
room enjoys a large moon viewing dais overlooking a lake.
