Midori-taki Waterfall - Water flowing out of Kasumiga-ike pond flows into Hisago-ike pond. The view of the waterfall can be enjoyed from Yugao-tei tea house standing on the other side of the pond. It is 6.6m high and 1.6m wide with the sufficient volume and sound, which pleases people both visually and acoustically. The solemn sight of the waterfall cannot be seen in any other gardens, and is one of the most excellent landscapes in Kenrokuen. Kenrokuen Garden is considered one of the three most beautiful gardens in Japan and is filled with a variety of trees, ponds, waterfalls and flowers stretching over 25 acres (100,000 sq.m). Kenrokuen Garden is located in the beautiful city of Kanazawa. - kenrokuen_7068
