Will They Laugh?

Postby Brittles » Mon Jul 14, 2008 12:19 pm

I was just curious to whether wearing certain Japanese Fashions would get you a few judgmental glances and opinions from Japanese people? No, Im not saying they are rude and I don't mean this in an offensive way at all, but would you be considered a poser if you were an american person walking around in Lolita Gothic fashions? Or a kimono?

You are likely to have people look at you if you wear either of these outfits, but I don't think they would be judgemental glances. It is more likely because you are unusual. Having said that, in Tokyo the Japanese don't stare much at westerns no matter what they are doing.

Many Japanese don't wear their Lolita Gothic fashions until they get to Harajuku. They carrier their clothes in small suit cases with wheels and change at Harajuku Station. I assume there are storage lockers their.
