Japanese / Anime Party Dress

Hi

I am going to a Christmas Party at the Language College where I am learning Japanese and I would like to wear a party dress that is a Japan Style, something beautiful like the heroines in Anime wear.

Other people at the party are not learning Japanese so it needs to be a nice dress but also obviously Japanese.

Any information on what I could wear and where I could buy it would be greatly appreciated.

I love japanese anime , actually I am learning japanese , it is very nice experience to study the japans language with anime. by the way which japanese anime did you like most.

So... there are many animes for you to choose. i like "Doraemon" and "inuyasha" most. They are very interesting
