Are there traditions and customs revolving around how to dress a young child and baby ? I'm interested in knowing some typical Japanese habits revovling around kids' clothing, both modern and traditional.
Also, is HELLO KITTY still a childhood rage ?

Sure, there are traditions for every culture especially about style. Many Asian countries hold light skin to be a sign of beauty because it symbolises that one doesn't have to work outdoors to make a living...one has more money and social status. I travel with kids to Asia quite a bit and have noticed that the kids really notice this stuff.
