NAGOYA TV TOWER
Nagoya TV tower is the oldest TV tower in Japan, is 180 metres high, and has two observation decks to view Nagoya. The Nagoya TV Tower is modelled after the Eiffel Tower.
Nagoya TV Tower was completed in 1954 and is the
oldest TV tower in Japan. Nagoya TV Tower is 180
metres high, and has two observation decks at the heights of 30 metres
and 100 metres. The later observation deck provides reasonable views of Nagoya, however the Nagoya TV Tower no longer dominates the sky line with many tall builds now dominating the sky line.
A model of the Nagoya TV Tower featured in the 1992 movie Godzilla vs Mothra, where the tower was destroyed by the Battra character.
