Niseko (ニセコ町; -chou) is a ski resort located in Hokkaido, Japan. Niseko is widely regarded as the best ski resort in Japan for three main reasons: weather, size and infrastructure. Niseko is particularly popular with Australian skiers who can ski in their off season.

Niseko Snow - Where the best deep powder comes from.
Thanks to its northern location Niseko is fed by weather streams that come from Siberia rather than from Eastern Japan, the resort is blessed with a consistently high and light snowfall producing impressive amounts of powder.

The Niseko Ski Season is long. It varies slightly between grounds, but many start in the last week of November and some finish at the end of the first week of May. It varies slightly from year to year.
