Neo-Renaissance building which was built between 1916 and 1918 with
funds donated by the stock broker Einosuke Iwamoto. It is worth seeing
the beautiful stained glass windows, crystal chandeliers and the
dramatic ceiling painting 'Tenchi Kaibyaku', which depicts the creation
of the Universe according to Japanese myth. |
