OSAKA EXPO PARK
Osaka Expo Park - site of the Osaka '70 International
Expo. Osaka Expo Park is popular in cherry blossom season.
Osaka Expo Park was created on the grounds of the Japan
World Exposition, held in 1970, soon after its completion. Osaka
Expo Park was created in commemoration of the success of the Japan
World Exposition. In the approximately 260 hectares area, there are
a Japanese garden, Natural Culture Park, and a group of facilities

seasonal changes with birds and flowers, waterfalls and water
wheels. The east side of the park is designed to be a plain field
with event square and a lawn park where various festivals and events
are held throughout year. There are also other facilities: the
Japanese garden which was one of the Japanese governments exhibits
during the Exposition; for cultural facilities, the National Museum
of Ethnology where material and information regarding every ethnic
