Osaka Municipal Subway Umeda Station is one of three Umeda Stations each operated by different rail companies.

Osaka Municipal Subway Umeda Station is located in Umeda district of the Kita-ku ward to the north east of JR Osaka Station in the northern commercial center of Osaka, Japan. The other two passenger Umeda Stations are Hanshin Umeda Station and Hankyu Umeda Station.

The nearby stations Osaka Station (JR West), Kitashinchi (JR West Tozai Line), Nishi-Umeda (Osaka Subway Yotsubashi Line, Y11) and Higashi-Umeda (Osaka Subway Tanimachi Line, T20) are within walking distance and connected by a large complex of underground malls.
