Guide

Fujiyoshida is the largest city on northern side of Mount Fuji, and is the gateway city for many people on their way to Mount Fuji from Tokyo. Many Mount Fuji Day Tours from Tokyo stop at Fujiyoshida for lunch on their way to or from Mount Fuji. Fujiyoshida does offer some great views of Mount Fuji, but most visitors chose to stay at nearby Kawaguchiko as it combines lake views with Mount Fuji. Fujiyoshida is famous for its Fuji-Q-Highland amusement park featuring one of the world’s fastest roller coasters.
