Fuji Chobo-no-yu Yurari is the famous Onsen where you can enjoy views of Mt Fuji while soaking in a hot Japanese bath. Fuji Chobo-no-yu Yurari is near Kawaguchiko.
Mount Fuji 5th Station (Kawaguchiko) is the 5th point on the walk up Mount Fuji from the Kawaguchiko side. Mount Fuji 5th Station (Kawaguchiko) is at 2,300m and is as far as normal cars and tour buses can go up the mountain. There is an observatory point, which on a clear day, allows you to look down to Komitake Shrine and Lake Yamanaka. From Mount Fuji 5th Station (Kawaguchiko) there are several hiking tracks: Ochudo which encircles Mount Fuji staying at roughly the same altitude. Ochudo track leads to the lookout point Oniwa, where there are some spectacular views. Continuing further long Ochudo track leads to the lookout point Satomidaira, where a full view of Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanaka can be obtained.
