Manazamo is a place of scenic beauty on the main island of Okinawa, where there is a contrast of three colors: the green of the grass on top of the bluff, the grey of the rocks and the blue of the sea. Manazamo is best seen on a bright sunny day. Historically the poet Yoshia Chiru wrote a famous poem for the Ryukyuan King after meditating at Manazamo.
