    Tennoji Park

    Tennoji Park Osaka features many scenes with statues made with wire and covered with flowers. Tennoji Park also includes the traditional Japanese garden Keitakuen, Osaka Municipal Museum of Fine Art, Tennoji Zoo and Chausuyama Tomb.

    Yahataya Park is in Minato Osaka. Yahataya Park was established in 1923 as the city athletic field, later it was used as a venue for an international trade fair. Today Yahataya Park is home to the Osaka Municipal Central Gymnasium and the Osaka Pool which includes an ice rink.

  • Shirokita Park

    Shirokita Park is next to the Yodogawa River in Osaka. Shirokita Park covers 9.5 hectares and features many seasonal flowers including cherry blossom (April), chrysanthemum (November) and lilies (May and June). The Lily Garden features around 13,000 plants from three verities; Edo, Ise and Higo.

    Sakuya Konohana Kan (The Great Conservatory), in Tsurumi Osaka Prefecture, is a large greenhouse which features 15,000 plants from 2,600 species from around the world. Sakuya Konohana Kan’s climate control system allows plants to bloom all year round including those from tropical or high altitude climates.

    Osaka Expo Park was the site of the Osaka ’70 International Expo. Osaka Expo Park continues to be very popular in cherry blossom season and is considered one of Japan’s Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots.
