Nisanzai Kofun, also known as Nisanzai Tumulus, is a keyhole-shaped Kofun, which is 290m long, 156m across the round section and, 224m across the front part and 25m high. Nisanzai Kofun is eighth largest tumulus in Japan and part of the Mozu Tumulus Group, also known as Mozu kofungun, which used to feature over 100 Tumuli, however today only 48 tombs remain. Nisanzai Kofun today features only one moat, however excavations indicate that were was at least another outer moat. Nisanzai Kofun is in Sakai City Osaka Prefecture.
