Yuushien Garden (also spelt Yushien) is a traditional Japanese garden that is famous for its 250 types of Japanese peonies, along with its Autumn leaves and illumination. Yuushien Garden has features for each season: Spring – Azaleas, rhododendrons and Irises. Summer – Sweet flag, camellia, crape myrtle, hydrangea and water lilies. Autumn – Oleaceae and sasanqua. Winter – Chloranthus, Winter peonies, camillia, irises, coral bush and chloranthus glaber. Yuushien Garden includes three restaurants, each with a different style. Yuushien Garden is on Daikonshima Island in Matsue.
