Sunshine 60 Observatory is on the 60th floor of the Sunshine 60 Building in Ikebukuro. Sunshine 60 Observatory provides a very different view of Tokyo to the other observation decks as it is on the outer western edge of the city, so the greater urban area dominates, rather than distinctive landmarks.

Sunshine City’s observation deck is accessible when you pay 2000 yen. For this reason, I recommend only coming here if you plan on doing the rooftop events, like the Sky Circus that’s presently being held there. Otherwise, you will be slightly disappointed by the lack of things to do. Also considered a “romantic” spot, so a lot of couples come here at night.
