Tokyo Big Sight, formally known as the Tokyo International Exhibition Center is one of the largest convention and exhibition centers in Tokyo and was opened in 1996. Tokyo Big Sight features a very iconic and distinctive design consisting of four upside down pyramids, however this only a small part of the total complex and houses the Conference Tower. Actual exhibition areas include the East Exhibition Hall which consists of six sections, The West Exhibition Hall, which consists of four sections, the Outdoor Exhibition Area and the Rooftop Exhibition Area. In addition to the exhibition areas there are also 14 restaurants and cafes, plus a convenience store.
