    Don’t miss Miyajima Island when visiting Hiroshima! Miyajima, also called “Island of Gods” is one of the most scenic spots in Japan. Listed as an UNESCO World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Shrine is famous for its “floating” torii gate in red.Start your rickshaw ride from the Miyajima Ferry Terminal between 9:30am to 5:30pm. You cannot miss Miyajima Island as one of the three most scenic spots in Japan where the UNESCO World Heritage Site Itsukushima Shrine is located. Itsukushima Shrine is built over water and famous for its “floating” torii gate in red.
    Depending on the season, Miyajima is also famous for cherry blossoms in the spring and maple trees in the fall. Try the delicious oysters in the winter. They may be customized based on your preferred start and end point, the length of your tour and points of interests.

    30 Minute Option
    Cruise right from the ferry terminal to the center of Miyajima’s charming townhouse street and old-fashioned shopping arcade. Continuing on the path along the waterfront, you will have a great view on the large, orange torii in the water, in front of the Itsukushima Shrine. Going behind the shrine to the Momijidani, you will be guaranteed to see the colourful foliage in autumn.

    45 Minute Option
    Cruise right from the ferry terminal to the center of Miyajima’s charming townhouse street and old-fashioned shopping arcade. Continuing on the path along the waterfront, you will have a great view on the large, orange torii in the water, in front of the Itsukushima Shrine. After viewing other temples, you will head to Momijidani, where you will be guaranteed to see the splendid, colorful foliage in autumn.

    1 Hour Option
    This will guide you along the most scenic spots and streets of Miyajima. Starting with the townhouse street, followed by the water front view overlooking the bay with its huge, orange torii and the Itsukushima Shrine, then a valley with beautiful foliage in the fall. After leaving the crowded tourist area for a quiet, secluded temple at the bottom of the mountain, you will return to the ferry terminal by passing through the oldest part of town with stone walls.

    2 Hour Option
    This will guide you along the most scenic streets of Miyajima. Starting with the townhouse street, followed by the water front view overlooking the bay with its huge, orange torii and the Itsukushima Shrine, then a valley with beautiful foliage in the fall. After leaving the crowded tourist area for a quiet, secluded temple at the bottom of the mountain you will reach the waterfront, west of the shrine and torii, by passing through the oldest part of town with stone walls. In spring, you will be amazed by the beauty of the pink cherry blossoms on that side of the Island. Retracing your steps through the small shopping arcade and town houses, you will reach the ferry terminal.
