Discover the World Heritage listed Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest and majestic mountain. During your 9 hour tour by air-conditioned coach, you’ll have the chance to visit Kawaguchi-ko Lake, Oshino Hakkai and meet a ninja at the Oshino Ninja Village. The trips up to Mt Fuji’s 5th station at an elevation of 2,300 meters and the flight simulator sightseeing attraction at Fuji airways are unforgettable.Discover Mt. Fuji, Japan’s highest and majestic mountain which is listed on the World Heritage. During this 9 hour tour on an air-conditioned coach, you’ll have the chance to visit Kawaguchi-ko Lake, Oshino Hakkai, Oshino Ninja Village, Mt Fuji’s 5th station, and a flight simulator at Fuji airways. A fluent English-speaking tour assistant will take you from place to place.
Depart from meeting point at Shinjuku at approximately 8:10am via Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway and Chuo Expressway.
At Lake Kawaguchi-ko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes, you will enjoy the natural reflecting pool for Mt. Fuji for approximately 20 minutes. As a gateway to Mt. Fuji, Lake Kawaguchiko is a must-see sight.
Then, for about 30 minutes, you will go to the Oshino Hakkai “Oshino Eight Ponds” to see excellent views of Mt. Fuji with spring water. You’ll enjoy traditional Japanese rural views while walking around some ponds and try and see fresh fruit and local foods.
Then you’ll head to Oshino Shinobi no Sato, “the Oshino Ninja Village,” eautiful Views of Mt. Fuji with Japanese garden. You may even encounter a part of Japanese culture, a Ninja and take a photo with them.
You have an optional lunch: if you select the tour with lunch, you will have Japanese-style lunch at Oshino Shinobi no Sato “Oshino Ninja Village.” Vegetarian menus are available. Please let us know if you have any dietary requests or restrictions.
If you do not select the lunch option: you will have lunch on your own (you may also bring your own lunch).
After lunch you will head to the Mt. Fuji 5th Station for the closest view of Mt. Fuji for a duration of about 30 minutes. There is a Shinto shrine there, but if we cannot go there, we will attend the highest point on the driveway. In addition, if we only go to the first station, we will attend Fuji Visitor Center as an additional point.
The last item on the itinerary will be Fuji Airways attraction where you will spend 40 minutes to enjoy views of Mt Fuji from every season. No need to worry about the weather because this is an inside activity. This 4D experience is created by the latest Japanese technology.
By around 5:15pm, you will return to the Shinjuku Station (West Exit).
